Education in this millennium will be a key factor in the survival of global economies and this will in time, give each nation its own place in the world market.

India is today well into the second generation reforms which are integral part of the process of globalization. We have not only to sustain the growth rate realized in the last two decades but also to target at higher growth rates so that we may become a great techno-economic power. The strides in information technology and automobile industry are examples of our growth and assure us of achieving such targets. But unless the requisite reforms are in place we cannot sustain these higher rates of growth.
