Farewell Ceremony in honour of Dr. H.N. Chandrawat

Tech-IT Society of Information Technology Department, Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology, Amritsar bid farewell to Executive Director Dr. H.N. Chandrawat on 3rd September, 2010.

The Society organized the farewell party on behalf of faculty members & students of the department. Dr. H.N. Chandrawat was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Chandrawat. Both Sir & Madam were given a floral welcome by the faculty member Er. Chaitali Malik. The ceremony began with the welcome speech by Ms. Simran K. Kohli (Event Manager, Tech-IT Society). It was followed by Ms. Shivind Kaur (Student Chairman, Tech-IT Society) highlighting on the achievements of Chandrawat Sir.

To give his heavenly blessings to the students & teachers, Chandrawat Sir shared his feelings with them. As always it was an honour to listen to Chandrawat Sir. He gave a piece of advice to faculty members & students. He suggested all faculty members to continue their pursuit of higher studies in order to update their knowledge. He had mixed feelings of leaving this prestigious institute, Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology, of which he had been the body & soul part.

The HOD, Dr. Surjit Singh, bid adieu to Chandrawat Sir. He praised Sir for his good work & valuable guidance. He emphasized everybody to learn from Chandrawat Sir's plain speaking & high thinking.

The ceremony came to an end with the presentation of a small memento to Chandrawat Sir & Madam as a token of love and affection from the department. The farewell party was attended by all the faculty members of the Department.
