A guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Reader Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GNDU Amritsar on 13th April, 2009 in the Department of IT.
The topic of discussion was “Emerging Trends in IT”. Main Stress of the talk was on

1. Parallel Processing

2. Embedded System

The lecture was highly appreciated by both faculty members and the students of the department. The talk was followed by a fruitful discussion on the subjects. Earlier Dr. Gurvinder Singh was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival for the department.

The department would endeavor to conduct such lectures in future also.
