Techneers Club Function Mar 19, 2010
Tech-Neers club of IT department of Amritsar college of Engineering & Technology (ACET), Amritsar organized its fourth successful function on 19th Mar 2010. The Events organized in this function were- Group Discussion, Technical Quiz and Programming Competition.
A total of 150 participants took part in all these events.

| The judges of the Group Discussion were - |

- Mr. Baljit Verma (Assistant Professor, Applied Sciences Department)

| They gave very interesting topics to the participants for discussion. Some of the topics were: |
- Coming Age is of It Engineering.
- India’s scientific progress in 60 years after independence
|
| There was a very animated, lively and fruitful discussion by all the contestants. |
| Programming Event(Based on C++ and Java Platforms) |
| The judges of the programming event were – |

They judged the students on the basis of their technical Knowledge, logic, program design & efficiency. |

There was a preliminary written round after which top four teams were selected for the final quiz. |
| All the events were very interesting and well coordinated by the Faculty Advisor of the club Ms. Neha Chadha, Mr Parambir Singh and a very vibrant team of 22 Student Coordinators. |

| The guest of honor for the evening was Dr. H.N. Chandrawat, the Director of the college and Dr. Surjit Singh (HOD IT). Dr. H.N. Chandrawat, who is also a patron of the club, encouraged the students to participate in greater numbers in such events. He also advised the students to enhance their Technical, Programming and Communication skills which would help them in achieving their dream of a successful career. |
