Presently, the central workshop is under the administrative control of the department of mechanical engineering. A core course manufacturing practice is being offered by the workshop to all the students of bachelor of technology programmes in first year. In subsequent years, it provides help to department of mechanical engineering for offering manufacturing processes related courses. In the final year, it caters to the needs of all the students (of any branch) to carry out their major projects. Following shops are well developed with all necessary machines and tooling.
